V is for Vampire Slayers

Welcome to Day 22 of the Blogging A-Z April Challenge, 2013!  Each day in April (except Sundays) I will be posting here, and the posts will be in alphabetical order!  This blog is all about my love of Halloween.    I'm not into gore, so don't expect to see a lot of that.  I love exploring cemeteries, so several of those will be featured, as well as props I have made and other ideas I've admired on the Halloween Forum and Haunt Forum and Pinterest.

For some shameless self-promotion, I have 2 other blogs in the challenge, too.  Check them out!
Random Ramblings - lives up to its name.  Totally random.
The Life of Lisa - health & weight loss related

Vampire Slayer Kits are not only useful if you have a vampire problem, but also can be works of art.

This one is made out of cigar box and carries all the necessities of ridding oneself of pesky vampires...

I really like this one.
I'd like to see it closer, but either the site is wonky or my computer is having fits, since it keeps taking me to the next item.

Which is.....

A very nice basic vampire slaying kit.

I'd like to see the rest of this one, too.  Very nice what I can see!

How do you get rid of vampire infestation?

  1. The red velvet and wood kit is superb! I was amazed at the price he is asking for it considering the hours upon hours of work that went into this piece. The detail is perfection. I printed off a pic which is now hanging on my wall, just love looking at this kit:-)

    1. I would love to get a closer look & be able to touch all the pieces. It is beautiful work!

  2. That second one is cool.

My choice of weapon for wiping out a vampire infestation would probably be the same as my weapon of choice for a zombie infestation - a machete!

Of course if I had a little more time the old mallet and stake would probably be the way to go - so if it was while they were asleep you could take your time.

    1. I actually hadn't thought about it, but we eat enough garlic at my house that we could probably just breathe on the vampires and they'd run. :)
