Happy Friday the 13th!

And also 171 days until Halloween!

I see I have to play catch up with Chuck's shenanigans. Let's start with Easter.

For some reason my sister feels the need to put a giant inflatable nutcracker up!
 But hey, why be normal?
We colored eggs with the rest of the family. This was fun since last year we (me, the Spouse & the Spawn) were all just getting over having Covid, so we skipped coloring eggs. The grandson was too young to care about it anyway. We put some plastic eggs out in the lawn so we could get some cute pics with him.
Nobody is fazed that I drew a cemetery on an egg!
It even colored with an orb!
Sis1 got a new horse, too! The guy she got him from said his daughter had been calling him "Rope" (insert raised eyebrows here) so now his name is Scout.
Other than that, it's been pretty non-eventful.
Candied bacon aka "Pig Candy" tonight at dinner.
We're finally having some nice days, but I haven't started working on any projects yet. #1 on my list is putting a thin line of sealant across the tops of each of my headstones and the shack. Most of them were cut out in 2008 and sit out for all of October (which can have pretty crappy weather here in Michigan) so the tops have split.

I was on my way to Sis1's house one day and saw these fence posts on the side of the road and went back with her truck to get them. The whole ones are 4"x4"x about 7' tall and the broken one about 5' tall. I feel like they're going to be a cool project, but I just haven't figured out what I'm going to make them into yet.

I don't need a gate for the cemetery. Maybe some sort of headstone?
They're super heavy, so I'd have to make them mobile somehow, too.

Hmm.
I'll have to run it past my idea man, aka the Spouse, and see what he thinks.
