B is for Bling

Welcome to Day 2 of the Blogging A-Z April Challenge, 2013!  Each day in April (except Sundays) I will be posting here, and the posts will be in alphabetical order!  This blog is all about my love of Halloween.    I'm not into gore, so don't expect to see a lot of that.  I love exploring cemeteries, so several of those will be featured, as well as props I have made and other ideas I've admired on the Halloween Forum and Haunt Forum and Pinterest.

Bling

I'm not one to wear excessive jewelry.  My only rings are my wedding ring / band and my US Navy ring from when I was enlisted.  They never come off.  I very seldom wear necklaces, altho I do own several.

Now earrings are a different story.  Love them!  Please forgive the horrendous selfies, but here are a few of my Halloween-themed earrings that I enjoy.   They're not the fanciest things out there, but I like them!

 GID skeletons

these little skulls are quite heavy!

This necklace matches the above earrings.
It is quite long and also weighs a ton.

I have a pin that matches these mummies.

I obviously have another pair just like these!
These are going to get a lot of wear -
these happen to be my daughter's dance studio's team colors.

Not  scary in the slightest, but a pair of my favorite earrings -
carved out of Petosky stone!

Do you have some favorite bling?

For some shameless self-promotion, I have 2 other blogs in the challenge, too.  Check them out!
Random Ramblings - lives up to its name.  Totally random.

  2. Those are some of my favorites! It cracks me up when I wear any of these to work. I can always tell when the person I'm talking to notices what I have on.

    1. Hmm, I was sure I replied, but for some reason it didn't show!

Thanks! I had to look up what a Triple Goddess necklace was - that's so pretty! Do you have a special stone in yours?
