Happy New Year (again!)
The weekend between Christmas & New Year's, my sisters and I made a short trip to Ohio to see our brother.
On the way there, we had planned to stop at the Haunted House Restaurant in Cleveland - but it seems like every time we plan to go, they change their hours! They're currently on "winter hours" and therefore don't have brunch on Friday, which we were counting on. So we drove by. I really hope the inside is more... well MORE than the outside is!
We also drove by the Christmas Story house!
It's in a very tight, older neighborhood (of course! The movie takes place in the 1930s or 40s) and there were a zillion cars lining the streets, so we just cruised by.
After lunch, we set our GPS for....Steubenville Nutcraker Village !
We knew we'd make it for this, since the website says it's open 24/7 until January 6.
We honestly were expecting it to be in a park, but the fact that the nutcrackers were all along the sidewalks in a little town was really fun!
I didn't get pics of all of the nutcrackers - there were a LOT of them!
And most were based on the store they stood in front of.
They also had a sign of who they were protraying.
There was also a nutcracker store - I used to go crazy over them, but now I'm more discerning for "unique" nutcrackers.

I didn't know Dean Martin was from Steubenville, but he must be since we drove on Dean Martin Drive to get here!
They had all the "Brat Pack" in this area. I thought I got a pic of Sammy Davis Jr, but I can't find it - so maybe not!
