Taggarts Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Lafferty OH

Let me throw out my disclaimer that I am just a tourist who was visiting the area.

I do not know of who cares for this cemetery. I was pleasantly surprised that it had been somewhat recently mowed when I visited May 11, 2024.
I'm so glad GPS is a thing since I wouldn't have ever found this place otherwise!
It would have been a tight squeeze if I'd met another vehicle on this road!
This is a very hilly area, too.
This is where it told me to turn!
Once I got past that little stand of trees on the left, all I could say is ...
Wow!

This is a beautiful little cemetery.
All I could do is stand there and look and listen for a few minutes.

All of the graves are from the 1800s with Revolutionary War Vets.
Some are broken and neatly piled up.
Sometimes I couldn't tell if there was one or more stones piled up.

I bounced my pics off of FindAGrave, so I was able to find some names, dates & interesting info.
Not gonna lie - I really appreciate that a number of stones belonging to men said "husband of so & so" on it.
